Overview of Nursing Games 2017

WHAT IS NURSING GAMES?

The Nursing Games continue to be one of the most recognized university events for undergraduate nursing students in Canada. This fun-filled weekend includes the gathering of nursing students from around the country to compete in both academics & skill-testing, in addition to sports-related events. Various activities such as social nights and a formal dinner keep attendees busy while they are not competing. This weekend is focused on demonstrating pride and enthusiasm for both your school and future profession.

WHERE ARE THEY BEING HELD?

This year, Nipissing University is proud to play host for the 2017 Nursing Games. Nipissing is located in North Bay, ON which is a short drive from both Toronto (3 hours) and Ottawa (4 hours). Nicknamed the “gateway to the north”, North Bay is home to much of Northern Ontario’s picturesque landscape.

WHEN IS IT?

The 2017 Nursing Games is being held from Friday March 17th, until Sunday March 19th, 2017. In the past, festivities have begun Friday night (however this is not mandatory to attend), and typically end with closing ceremonies and a career fair on Sunday morning.
